Half-races occur when two parent races come together and have a mixed-race child. The half-race may have the physical attributes of either of the parent races, including hair color, eye color, and skin color. They may only have one special attribute from each parent however, such as a tail, wings, scales, and so on.
Example: A Taniwha and an Kore have a child. This child would be able to have either horns or a scaled tail from the Taniwha parent, would likely have pointed ears, and could have bark-like skin from the Kore parent. Any mix of these physical traits are allowed, as long as it is one from each parent.

Half-races have the unique ability to garner one special trait from each parent rather than the single specialization that is gifted onto a race.
Example: The Kore are able to harden their skin to a bark-like texture that reduces damage from oncoming attacks, and a natural ability with ranged weapons. Taniwha are resistant to high temperatures, and also have the ability to summon a harmless ball of flame to light the area. The player may pick one attribute from each parent race. For example, they may have the ability to have bark-like skin during combat, and also have an ability to summon flame.

There are races that are allowed to create half-breeds, and races in which children would not be viable.
Examples of allowed half-races:
Half Taniwha / Half Kore
Half Lightfoot / Half Mirciem
Half Kore / Half Mirciem
Half Lightfoot / Half Taniwha
Half Lightfoot / Half Kore
Half Lightfoot / Half Selheo
Half Selheo / Half Taniwha
Examples of disallowed half-races:
Half Imps are not allowed.
Mirciem can only breed with Lightfoots or Kore.
